Bows
You know what a bow is. A big curved stick with a string attached that
a person shoots arrows from. This is how bows work here at T2T:
* You can only target something in the room with you.
* You must have a bow on you.
* You must have arrows readily at hand (whether in your hands,
in a quiver, or on the ground; it doesn't matter where).
* You must 'nock' an arrow.
* If you decide not to use it, you can 'unnock' the arrow.
* You then 'draw' your bow.
* Finally, you 'shoot' your target.
If you have the "autoshoot" setting set, you will automatically perform
the last 3 actions while in combat, one each round of combat. With a
little bit of archery skill, you have a chance to perform the actions
more rapidly than one per round.
With the "bowmessages" setting set to "off", you will no longer see
your own nock and draw messages in normal combat. You will, however,
still see those messages when manually typing "nock" and "draw".
The bow is the primary weapon for one of the archer profession. As well
as shooting faster, they have abilities that will allow them to shoot
more than one arrow at a time.
