Command: brief

Usage: brief [off]

The brief command puts you into 'brief' mode.
If you are in verbose mode you will see the long description of a 
room when you enter or look into it.  In brief mode, you will see
only the short description, which is shorter but less detailed.

Typing 'brief' will put you into brief mode.
Typing 'brief off' will put you back into verbose mode.
