Easterling
Easterling is the name of the Men who live beyond the sea of Rhun,
far from the Western lands of the Eldar. Easterlings are known to
serve Sauron. In their homeland, Easterlings are wandering hunters
who band together in barbarian hordes to overrun their foes. Gondor
has often felt the wrath of these mighty chariot-riding Easterling
hordes in the past. The Easterlings live in bastions of civilization
such as city states and small kingdoms clustered about the Sea of
Rhun. Although not the most handsome race, Easterlings vary greatly
in appearance, with different hair colours and complexions.
They are a strong and hearty race suited for a Mannish existance in
the far-off northeastern lands and make excellent warriors.
