Newbie Help on Getting Un-lost

If you are reading this, you are probably lost. And you are probably wondering how do I get un-lost. Well, you don't. You're lost forever! Muahahaha!

Just kidding.

All of us, at some point or another, have been utterly, completely, and hopelessly lost. But there are techniques that can find your way back to civilization, and here are a few of them:
1) Think about the general direction you came from. Let's say you came from Bree and headed south a bunch and maybe a little west. At this point, head back in the general direction you came from (in this case north) and see if you get to familiar territory. From there, try a couple different directions, and see if you end up in Bree again. 2) This is the other technique, and probably the best and most used one. Let's say you have NO idea where you are and NO idea which way you came from. Ugh, how did THAT happen? :) Anyway, choose a direction, any direction at all. Head that way. Chances are, you'll find a road. If you don't and can't go any further, try another direction! Eventually you are bound to find one. Once you do find a road or other landmark, follow it. One way or another, you'll most likely find someplace with civilization, and maybe even a signpost to travelto back to a known area!

So, if you do get lost, don't despair. It happens to the best (and the worst) of us.

If you must ask another player, please do NOT whine. Whining is bad. It may even deter people from helping you. Not everyone will help you. Before you ask anyone for help, ask a helper. Please try not to ask an Ainu for help, unless you believe you're bugged in some way. Its the newbie helper's job to help you with this, not the Ainur's.
