COMMANDS WHILE NOT ON THE HORSE
- hitch <horse>
Hitch the horse to a hitching post, a specially coded object which
is meant to keep horses from wandering off when left unattended.
- unhitch <horse>
Unhitch the horse from a hitching post.
- lead <horsename>
Lead the horse. This is having the horse follow you as you walk
through rooms. For a horse which is tired and out of endurance,
this is the only option available to the master. If a <horsename>
is not provided, this will also make you stop leading any horse
you are currently leading.
- mount <horse>
Mount up! Mount your horse and begin riding!
- mount name <horse> <name>
Give your horse a customized name.
- mount allow <horse> <name>
Let another player mount your horse as a passenger.
- mount reject <horse> <name>
Disallow a passenger from mounting your horse.
- tame <horse>
You can tame certain wild horses for your own use.
COMMANDS WHILE ON THE HORSE
- dismount
get off the horse
- spur/whoa
Increase or decrease the horse's speed.
~ The speeds are: walk, trot, canter, gallop.
- <direction>
north, south, east, west, etc. The standard directions for moving
the horse around while riding.
EVALUATE LEVELS
When evaluating a mount, these are the conditions from best to worst that
can be returned:
* Horse is an extraordinary mount. You will not find a better mount
anywhere.
* Horse is magnificent! Strong, fast, and unafraid of combat, it is a true
prize!
* Horse is well-trained and will serve its master well in both travel and
combat.
* Horse is a very good mount, with advanced training.
* Horse is a good mount, moderately trained.
* Horse is an average mount, and could use much more training.
* Horse is very inexperienced and won't be able to fight or run for
very long.
