Rider
The clamour of hooves thundering on the field of battle is said to be
one of the most frightening sounds in war. It takes extraordinary morale,
discipline and determination to hold the lines when you are facing the
onslaught of a ruthless charge.
This is what riders do. They serve as symbols of strength and power,
inspiring their allies with mighty warcries. Seated on their trusted
warmounts, riders also have a considerable advantage in combat over those
who fight on foot. Their training to keep their balance allows
them to fight better even dismounted, but they are at their peak
effectiveness when mounted.
