Spellbooks

To cast a spell you must have a spellbook. Spellbooks are not hard to find, in fact, there should be a place close to your login point where you can get one. Once you have the book, you can start accumulating spells.

As you travel through the world, you will come across various places where you can get a spell, either by killing a monster or by doing some type of mini quest, etc. Once you get the item with the spell written on it, or in it, you can transfer the spell to your spellbook. If you do not transfer the spell, then you will not have it next time you log on. Your spellbook will allow you to remove and add spells whenever you want. Only the spells in your spellbook will be with you always.

Each spell has its own help file which you can read by typing "help spell <spellname>"
