Thief
Some steal for pleasure, others steal out of necessity. Still others
have been known to sneak off with magic rings from dragon hordes and
change the course of history. Thieves are the rogues and sneaks of
Middle-Earth. Whether it be coin, jewels, relics, or weaponry, the thief
is trained to take any and all of these things as he desires.
Thieves must strike a delicate balance between profit and the law to
survive. While they are masters and mistresses of making off with shiny
valuables, breaking into places they shouldn't, and slipping around
unseen, theft is considered a crime in most lands and is dealt with
accordingly by the law. At least, that is, if they get caught...
A thief gets several skills to aid his thieving. These skills determine
how good a thief you are:
~ theft
~ locksmith
~ stealth
~ nimbleness
Thieves also tend to be good at the following abilities:
~ steal
~ pick lock
~ hide
~ sneak
~ appraise
