Dear Ardans,
 
There have been an overwhelming number of problems, 
warnings, silences, and complaints regarding the 
public comms recently.
 
The sheer volume of problems, and my everlasting 
optimism, tell me that we are experiencing a lack 
of understanding when it comes to the public comms.
 
As Power of Law, I am taking several steps to help 
this, and other problems, we are all having regarding 
the rules, their enforcement and clarity, reporting 
problems to the PoL, etc - so be sure to stay tuned.
 
To begin with, let us take a look at our policies
regarding public channels of communication. If you
haven't read 'help comm_policy' lately, or ever,
now might be a good time for a refresher course.
We strive for a PG-13 type rating for our comms,
PG-13 is a popular ranking used by the Motion
Picture Association of America to help parents
know what sort of content will be found in movies,
so they can determine if it is appropriate for
their child to see. Unfortunately, we have been
experiencing a lot of decency problems with the
comm. 
 
If you want to (and some of you reading this will) 
discuss lewd or potentially lewd, sexually graphic, 
or other adult topics - stay away from the comms and 
you'll be fine.
 
To be sure the point is gotten, I will now highlight
some historically ignored/forgotten points from
'help comm_policy' that are important...
 
Graphic sexual language/innuendo, harsh profanity 
and excessive profanity, will not be tolerated. 
Note:  You would be ill-advised to test the boundries 
of the profanity rules.  Your best bet is to keep it 
clean.
 
DO NOT TRY TO TEST THE BOUNDARIES, YOU WILL BE
UNHAPPY WITH THE RESULTS.
 
No hate speech, racial, gender or sexual 
orientation slurs.
