Dear Ardans,
 
Recently, members of Durmanhoth used alts to take control of The
Quickblades guild. It seemed as if this was done fairly, and within our
multiplay rules. We felt that QB had the activity necessary to overthrow
their GM if they wanted to, so we let it go. It came to our attention
today that the characters in question used a bug to keep control of
Quickblades, essentially making it impossible to overthrow the GM. This
has done severe damage to the Quickblades as a guild. 
 
WE WILL NOT TOLERATE the abuse of bugs to infiltrate, destroy, and/or
maintain control over guilds.
 
The key abuser, Haylie has been nuked. All characters involved have
received strict punishments in proportion to their crimes. Where
appropriate, the typists' other alts have even been penalized. This is
something the administration of this mud takes very seriously.
 
Our apologies to the Quickblades for us not catching this sooner. Your GM
has been booted, and the bug is fixed, so that you should be able to use
the overthrow command to select a new GM. We hope our swift and stern
response will help all to know that we appreciate our guilds and will
protect these important in-game communities from undo hardship.
