Greetings, friends and fellow MUDders.
 
There are times when as an admin of a game like this, one has to make
decisions that one would rather not have to make. Such is the case today.
After due consideration, and as a fitting punishment (pursuant to Tulkas'
news post #58), the administration of T2T has enacted a 1-week suspension
upon the Durmanhoth guild. During this time, the guild hall will not be
accessible to any guild member. This punishment stems not just from the
episode with the Quickblades, but rather reflects what we regard as an 
evolving pattern of the Durmanhoth mucking with other guilds in what we
view as destructive, unfair ways.
 
While we realize that not every member was directly responsible for the 
actions and wrongdoing that took place, there are times when the group
must suffer punishment for the actions of the few. As administrators of
this game, we can and will take steps to ensure that no individual
or group of individuals are working against the best interests of the
MUD. In return for the extra privileges and luxuries we provide to
guilds, we in return require a higher level of responsibility from
them.
 
It is our hope that this warning rings clearly throughout our guilds
and playerbase... we are serious about keeping this game the absolutely
best it can be, and we will _not_ put up with deliberate harmful actions 
that work contrary to that cause.
