Hello Folks:
 
First, regarding the issue of character separation. This has long been
a gray area, and after much discussion we have decided to stop trying
to enforce this area. While all of the clauses in 'help multiplaying'
still apply, we have updated it to make it clear that there is noe
_requirement_ to play your characters as if they weren't controlled
by the same typist.  In short, you don't have to separate characters, 
but if you're an ass, people will hate all of your characters and if 
in your frustration at being hated, you do something stupid, we'll 
delete you. Also, there will be no protection from Valinor if you find
all of your characters under attack, even ones you may have "played 
nice" with and tried to "keep secret". The responsibility of dealing
with the ramifications of your actions is entirely on you.
 
Secondly, regarding the Power of Law position. Tulkas has had to step
down due to RL time restraints, and for the time being Mathias and I
will be covering the job, with some help from other admin. Please
continue to use the law reports for all law-related questions, issues
and other communications.
