Note 58 Mathias (01/11/09 17:24) Stories Hello Ardans, I'd like to take a moment to remind you what a story is and what it should be used for. A story is our way of allowing you to enrich your character's roleplay by providing a place through which other players may read the story of your character's past and present. As such, a story *must* contain the following attributes: * It must be thematic! * It must be in English (or one of Tolkien's created languages, such as sindarin, quenya, etc.) * It must be ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER. It may *not* contain the following: * ASCII art. * Profanity. * 'Tidbits' (log snippets, etc.) * Advertisement space for your in-game entrepreneurial endeavors. * Out-of-character information such as URLs, emails, etc. Many stories have been reviewed for these things and offending stories have been removed. This is not to say that all remaining stories meet the above conditions, but all that were removed contained something in the "may not" list. Re-posting an invalid story may be grounds for punishment, so please speak with an Ainu if you are unsure about the proper use of your story space. Thank you, Mathias
