Note 59 Mathias (08/06/09 16:46) Changes to the fine structure

Hello Ardans,

There have been some changes in the way that fines are
tabulated for attempted murders, murders, and contract kills:

* Contract kill fines have been reduced slightly.

* Attempted murder and murder charges will be INCREASED when
the attacker has performed repeated offenses against the
victim (i.e. the 5th attempted murder against a player will
be higher than the 4th, 3rd, 2nd, or 1st; likewise with
murders) - contract kill fines will not change in this regard.

* Age-based forgiveness has been altered slightly. For every 5 days
of age, 8 attempted murder charges will be stricken, 4 murders,
and 6 contract kills. These crimes will still appear in
'check record' but the forgiven crimes will be accounted for during
  fine calculation.

In short: it is better to kill players using the contract system.

Mathias
