Events(tm)

As some of you have hopefully noticed, we have created a new position
in Valinor called the RP Coordinator, and have selected Goldberry to
fill this role. The job of the RP Coordinator is to make sure that
fun events, usually of a RolePlaying-related nature, happen much more
frequently on the MUD. 
 
A number of small events have already been hosted, including an
obelisk race and a brand new one yesterday, the RP KillTracker game.
See the mudwide gossiper for more info on that. We would like to
encourage everyone to share their ideas for more RP-related fun events
with us - the RP KillTracker game was created directly from an idea
shared with us by a player.
 
We will also be looking at better systems for notifying you all of
upcoming events, as well as scheduling them more in advance so that
people can plan on being here. Another goal is to host more events
during the hours that our friends in Europe and Asia will be able
to take part in.
 
So keep your eyes open and put your thinking caps on!
