Note 50 Lungorthin (10/06/25 10:56) Reminder on Fair Play Hello everyone, We want to take a moment to address fair play and the importance of keeping the game enjoyable for everyone. Lately, we've seen an uptick in behaviors that fall outside the rules - some small, some more serious - and we'd like to remind everyone where we stand. A few key examples of things that aren't allowed: - Using systematic client triggers that form automated systems - Allowing other typists to control your character via triggers - Exploiting unintended mechanics for personal gain - Passing objects from one of your characters to another without shops - Depositing gold into your alt's guild via intermediaries - Exacting vengeful actions on typists using your alts We won't attempt to list every possible example here, but the message should be clear. Recently, we've introduced improved tools for detecting irregularities - even after the fact. What might seem minor at first can still be identified and addressed later. In fact, several discussions have already taken place with affected players for exactly this reason. As those players have been told, these behaviors are not acceptable and may lead to action where appropriate - to be clear, now is a good time to report an issue if you aware of one. This isn't about calling anyone out specifically - it's about keeping the game fair and fun for everyone. If you've been skirting the line, please take this as a stern reminder to step back inside it. We'd much rather see players adjust on their own than have to follow up with further formal action. Let's keep things fair, competitive, and enjoyable for all. If you have any doubts about what is and isn't legal, now is the right time to read up on a number of rules: - help rules - help multiplaying - help gold transfer - help bug abuse - help harassment Lungorthin, on behalf of the Admin
