The setting of The Two Towers is unmistakably in the middle of the War of the Ring, so combat is crucial. However, not all lands are yet war-torn, and there are still places of comfort where the people can enjoy the simple trades and crafts. These crafts are known as tradeskills, and civilians can master more tradeskills than any other profession.

Mastery of a tradeskill can provide a good source of income selling the results of your trade, whether selling to a shop or custom-made clothing to another player.

Tradeskills must be learned from a non-player character that provides instruction in the trade, so to get started you will first have to find your teacher.
