Hide (Thief ability)
The hide ability allows you to use your stealth to remain perfectly
motionless in a room, becoming effectively invisible. If you move or
make any action, you'll be noticed. You may also use 'hide off' to stop
hiding.
Trying to remain absolutely motionless takes a fair bit of work and
slowly uses endurance.
As hiding well requires staying motionless and silent, typing most of
the MUD commands will automatically force you out of hiding. Some
commands, though (mostly OOC) can be used in the hidden mode without fear
of it breaking. These commands are:

Typing anything else will break hiding if the command you type
succeeds (as opposed to, say, trying to bash an non-existent door).
This is primarily a thief ability used for hiding and waiting for
prey. Its success is based on the stealth skill. Successful hiding
attempt costs 20 EP, and then continuously drains EP as trying to
maintain absolutely motionless takes a fair bit of work. A failed
attempt costs 15 EP.
