Lost (Player Guides)If you are reading this, you are probably lost. Do not worry, though!
All of us, at some point or another, have been utterly, completely, and
hopelessly lost. Keep the following tips in mind which can help you find
your way back to civilization:
- Use the "map" command. It was specifically designed to help you
find your way. On the map, towns and other points of interests will
be marked as a red "*", and roads as a white "+". It should be fairly
easy to find the nearest town with it.
- If there is no town in sight, look for just a road; all roads lead
to somewhere. When you arrive at a road, just follow it in either
direction and it is sure to lead you to a town or populated area.
- In the very rare event you could see neither a town nor a road,
simply pick any direction you wish and travel there for a while.
Eventually, you will come across a road or another landmark that
will appear on your map or help you orient yourself.
So, if you do get lost, don't despair. It happens to the best (and
the worst) of us.
