Sniffer (Professions Help)

Sniffers are masters of the hunt, leading the soldiers of the Dark Lord to their quarry through wilderness and weather. Even a wraith would be hard-put to escape a sniffer's keen nose. Their mastery in the wilderness is unmatched among Sauron's forces, and with their small stature and stealth they can even slip past watchful guards, leaving not a hint as to their presence.

When they engage in combat, sniffers are vicious - an enemy facing off against one might be surprised by the finesse and treachery with which they fight. It is most likely this trait alone that allows sniffers a place of respect among the lumbering brutes in the Dark Lord's employ. Leading squads of hunters or working alone as spies, the sniffers are among the most dangerous of Sauron's myriad slaves.
